Also at Colburn…

Colburn’s faculty-artists often explore their creativity through various projects, recordings, and collaborations with other artists. Hui Wu, a member of the Community School of Performing Arts piano faculty, recently learned her interpretation of Arvo Pärt’s Für Alina was selected by the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia to honor the composition’s 50th anniversary. Wu recorded the piece in Zipper Hall for a collaboration with Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet. “I am so grateful to the Colburn production, piano shop, and AV teams for making it possible,” she says.
