November 4, 2021 | 7 pm, Olive Rehearsal Hall Colburn Contemporary Ensemble The Colburn Contemporary Ensemble presents an exploration of color, texture, and atmosphere. Schuller’s haunting, dramatic Phantasmata for violin and marimba; Harrison’s Concerto for violin and gamelan-inspired percussion ensemble; and Bartók’s tour de force, Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, are performed in the intimate environment of Olive Rehearsal Hall.

The screening will be followed by a live performance featuring one of the works in the series, along with a panel discussion led by student curator and Colburn Conservatory violinist Adam Millstein.
