Visit the Colburn Café on November 12 to be transported back in time to 18th-century Germany, with a free performance by the Colburn Conservatory Baroque Ensemble. For one day only, the Ensemble will become the Colburn Conservatory Collegium Musicum, presenting a series of works by Johann Sebastian Bach and recreating his famous performances with the Leipzig Collegium Musicum in the Café Zimmerman.
Lauded as “one of the most charismatic, innovative, and engaging performers of his generation,” cellist and first prize Sphinx Competition winner Thomas Mesa is an in-demand soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator. This performance will be livestreamed.
