The centerpiece of this concert is a dazzling double concerto that perfectly marries the violin and cello’s lush tones. Rounding out the program is an energetic early work by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Shostakovich’s demure ninth symphony. Join us in the lower lobby at 6 pm for a pre-concert conversation with conductor Yehuda Gilad and Sel Kardan, Colburn president and CEO.
