Music Director Jaime Martín leads LACO through Mozart’s luminous Haffner Symphony, whose pristine structures and joyful grace epitomize Classical brilliance. The concert also features the world premiere of Christopher Cerrone’s new Double Concerto, a boldly inventive work performed by violinist Anthony Marwood and cellist Coleman Itzkoff, offering a fresh voice in contemporary concerto writing. Finally, Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Mozartiana transforms Mozart’s style through romantic, late-19th-century colors—melding reverence with imaginative reinterpretation. A radiant celebration bridging tradition and innovation.

Fresh from their acclaimed performance last season, Les Talens Lyrique is back with Handelian Heroes, a cornucopia of musical delights starring countertenor Key'mon Murrah in his first LAO appearance since The Last Dream of Frida and Diego in 2023. Conductor/founder Christophe Rousset leads the acclaimed Paris-based chamber ensemble, known worldwide for their performances of celebrated Baroque masterpieces as well as rediscovered musical treasures.
