Internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Fazıl Say brings a recital shaped by intensity, virtuosity, and invention. Beethoven’s “Pathétique” and “Appassionata” sonatas push the piano to its emotional and technical limits, while Say’s own works blend Western classical with Turkish traditions. LACO Principal Flute Benjamin Smolen joins on Bosphorus Romance, adding another layer of color and lyricism to the program.
