Elizabeth Wright
Suzuki Cello Faculty
Elizabeth Wright, a native of North Carolina, received her Bachelor of Arts in cello performance from the University of California, Los Angeles with Ronald Leonard. She currently performs with New West Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, Long Beach Opera and the Long Beach Ballet.

Piano Faculty
Praised as “sparkling” by The New York Times and “a rising star” by China Musical Weekly, pianist Hui Wu displays her versatility through a creative approach to programming, stemming from a contemporary/classical music duality.
Cello Faculty
She is a founding member of the Marina Ensemble and is the cello coordinator of the Suzuki String Program at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. Ms. Yamagata was formerly the director of the Chamber Music Workshop at the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute and has served on the Board of the Suzuki Music Association of California.
Humanities Faculty
Mina has taught at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, University of California, San Diego, University of Southern California, and Minerva University, where she founded and led the faculty diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.

Dr. Janice Ying is a board certified orthopedic physical therapist and the founder of Opus Physical Therapy and Performance based in Los Angeles, CA.
Clarinet Faculty
At 17, Michael made his solo debut performing the Mozart Clarinet Concerto with the Honolulu Symphony as a winner of their Young Artists Concerto Competition.
