Welcome to the Colburn City Sings online curriculum. From here, you can access our eight-week choir and recorder programs, which guides 4th and 5th graders in developing fundamental skills. Both are aligned with National Association of Music Education (NAfME) standards, and tied to Common Core. This program includes a professional development webinar for teachers, interactive videos for students, and classroom-based curriculum that connects lessons to teachers’ academic instruction. Both programs are easily administered by teachers with little or no music training. Through one 45-minute lesson per week or three 15-minute segments, students learn a series of songs led by City Sings Director Leeav Sofer and Recorder Director Gina Luciani. Thank you for visiting us, and we hope that you and your students enjoy the programs.
