Apply to the Music Academy
The Colburn Music Academy is focused on providing pre-college musicians quality music education that will prepare them to study classical music in post-secondary institutions and to perform at an elite level. Acceptance is a highly selective process among students who already have demonstrated a qualified level of musicianship and performance abilities. The typical age range for students is 14-18, but younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Application and Scholarships
We are accepting applications for the 2026–27 school year for students of Oboe, Flute, Viola, Violin, and Cello. Scholarships are also available. Please email admissions@colburnschool.edu if you would like to apply.
Auditions
Auditions – All applicants who pass the pre-screening round will be invited to participate in an audition.
