Carmina Glicklich received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music with high honors in piano performance and pedagogy from California State University at Northridge (CSUN), where she also served on the faculty. While at CSUN, she directed the Piano for Youth Program which was the training program for the piano pedagogy department. She mentored college piano pedagogy students, many of whom are now professional piano teachers. Ms. Glicklich has also been on the faculty for the Orange County High School of the Arts where she taught keyboard literature. She has studied under Francoise Regnat, Dr. Jeanine Jacobson, Dr. Charles Fierro, and Dr. Stewart Gordon.
Ms. Glicklich’s students have won many competitions and have been accepted to conservatories and music schools including The Juilliard School, Mannes School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Northwestern University, Indiana University, Oberlin Conservatory, and the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California, among others.
In addition to teaching at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts, Ms. Glicklich is an active adjudicator and clinician. She is a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, the Music Teachers National Association, and is currently on the executive board of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers as the Vice President for Conferences.
