Dr. Yun is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, Adjunct Professor of Violin at Claremont Graduate University, CEO and Co-Director of the Montecito International Music Festival, and teaches violin at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts.

Dr. Chan Ho Yun was awarded a Diploma from the State Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, a Master of Music from Southern Methodist University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California. He was a recipient of a scholarship from Big Brother Foundation for continued studies in London and the Queen Elizabeth Silver Jubilee Music Award to study in the United States. His primary violin instructors were Alice Schoenfeld, Harry Curby, and Edward Schmieder.

He previously taught at the Pan Pacific Music Sessions in Sydney, Idyllwild Arts, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. And he has performed throughout Australia and the US as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician.
