The Colburn School is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, on the corner of Grand Avenue and Second Street, across from The Broad Museum and diagonally across from the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Parking
Parking on the Colburn campus is reserved for students, faculty, and staff, or by special permission. However many convenient public parking options are nearby. We recommend the nearby Walt Disney Concert Hall garage.

Weekdays after 4:30 pm, 2 hours before matinee performances, and weekends all day: $10 flate rate
Regular rates: $3.50 per 15 minutes, $20 maximum

Take Public Transit to Colburn
Colburn can be reached by multiple Metro lines with stops within two blocks of campus. The B and D Lines serve the Civic Center/Grand Park station at Hill and 1st Streets, and the A and E lines serve the newly opened Grand Avenue Arts/Bunker Hill station at Hope and 2nd Streets. More than 30 bus lines also stop close to campus. Use the LA Metro Trip Planner for routes and schedules.

Performance Venues
Zipper Hall is located in Colburn’s Grand Avenue building and is accessible via the doors at 200 S. Grand Avenue or the Colburn Plaza. Entrances to the Plaza are located on 2nd Street between Olive and Grand (stairs required) and on Grand Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street (outdoor walkway). When entering via the Plaza, use the Grand entrance.
Thayer Hall is located on the Colburn Plaza. Entrances to the Plaza are located on 2nd Street between Olive and Grand (stairs required) and on Grand Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street (outdoor walkway).
Mayman Hall is located in Colburn’s Grand Avenue building and is accessible via the Colburn Plaza. Entrances to the Plaza are located on 2nd Street between Olive and Grand (stairs required) and on Grand Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street (outdoor walkway). When entering via the Plaza, use the Grand entrance.
Olive Rehearsal Hall is located in Colburn’s Olive Street building and is accessible via the Colburn Plaza. Entrances to the Plaza are located on 2nd Street between Olive and Grand (stairs required) and on Grand Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street (outdoor walkway). When entering via the Plaza, use the Olive entrance.
