The Colburn Orchestra offers opportunities to advance your performance skills and collaborate with peers under the direction of Music Director Yehuda Gilad and guest conductors like Esa-Pekka Salonen, Ludovic Morlot, Stéphane Denève, and James Conlon.
Our graduates have found success with orchestra jobs, competition prizes, and teaching positions. Now we want to help you achieve success, however you define it. Our faculty and staff, along with our dedicated career department make sure you know about all the aspects of becoming a professional, including the audition process, competitions, and advanced educational opportunities.

We know how important it is for students to have access to the necessary facilities. Our 45 practice rooms are accessible 24 hours a day. Also, there are three halls perfectly designed for recitals and chamber music. Plus, we offer comfortable and furnished residential suites for students to live on campus.
The Colburn Conservatory is an incredible value: all students receive full tuition scholarship, as well as grants that cover housing and meals. We’re the only music school in the US that offers this comprehensive of a scholarship package for all accepted students.
