Dance and Music Academy students perform celebrated choreography paired with musical masterworks. In addition to Everflow by OC Dance Project’s Ally Helman and the screening of a new dance film by Trudl Zipper Dance Institute Artistic Director Janie Taylor, the program will feature Dance Academy artists’ original works, which showcase the improvisation and composition skills essential for a professional career in dance. Music selections include the Interstellar main theme by Hans Zimmer, Haydn and Mendelssohn string quartets, Philip Glass’s Distant Figure, and more.
