Internationally recognized for both his technical command and musical maturity, Virgile Barthe rose to global prominence after winning the 2025 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition and receiving the Rose Augustine Grand Prize, one of the highest honors in the guitar world. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising emerging artists in classical guitar today.
