Rebecca Frazier is Assistant Conductor of the String Ensemble and String Orchestra at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts.
Rebecca Frazier is Assistant Conductor of the String Ensemble and String Orchestra at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. She received her Master of Music in music education with an emphasis in orchestral conducting from Wichita State University, where she was a teaching fellow and a member of the WSU Graduate String Quartet. After graduation, she studied conducting with Paul Vermel at the Aspen Music Festival and School. Her Bachelor of Arts in violin performance is from the University of Kansas. Before moving to California, she worked with orchestras in private and public schools in the Midwest. In addition to her work with students at the Colburn School, she is an editor and publications manager at UCLA.
