Rose is an accomplished pianist, educator, and musical collaborator whose dynamic career spans performance, recording, teaching, and community engagement.
Her recent highlights include the world premiere of Suite Adeline for solo piano by techno pioneer Bruce Haack; the release of Mille Morte, a collection of virtuosic works recorded with the former principal bassoonist of the Mexico City Philharmonic; and the album Brazilian Landscapes with her long-time ensemble, The Blue Rose Trio.
Brazilian Landscapes led to a concert tour in Brazil, with performances in Rio de Janeiro and Campinas, including acclaimed venues such as Sala Cecília Meireles and the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where Rose also presented a piano master class. These experiences fostered ongoing collaborations with Brazilian composers, resulting in premieres of commissioned works such as Beethoven Cunha’s Miniatura Pernambucana for piano trio and Suite das Águas Piaumarenses for solo piano.
Beyond performance, Rose is passionate about leadership and inclusion in the arts. As Music Director at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, she curates programs for Black History Month and Pride Month, collaborating with artists across jazz, blues, Latin, and contemporary genres.
Rose is also a dedicated educator at Cypress College, where she teaches Music Theory, Musicianship, American Popular Music, Keyboard Skills, and Applied Piano.
Since joining The Colburn School in Fall 2022, she has participated in numerous concerts, with a primary focus on supporting and collaborating with the school’s voice, choral, and musical theater programs—demonstrating her versatility and commitment to artistic collaboration.
