Enjoy a weekend of spellbinding performances, intimate discussions, and insightful master classes that explore the rich tradition of art song. Curated by LA Opera’s Music Director James Conlon, this two-day festival will feature some of the most distinguished names in art song. Performers include baritone Rod Gilfry, legendary vocalist Frederica von Stade, collaborative pianist Kevin Murphy, and pianists from the studio of Fabio Bidini, Carol Colburn Grigor Piano Chair.

Renowned American mezzo-soprano Frederica “Flicka” von Stade and Kevin Murphy, esteemed pianist and artistic director of Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute Singers Program, lead a master class with artists from the Ravinia Festival’s Steans Institute.
