Director of Conducting, Negaunee Conducting Program; Maestro Ernst H. Katz Chair of Conducting Studies
Esa-Pekka Salonen is Music Director of the San Francisco Symphony, Conductor Laureate of the Philharmonia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. As a member of the faculty of the Colburn School, he directs the pre-professional Negaunee Conducting Program and holds the Maestro Ernst H. Katz Chair of Conducting Studies.
At the very forefront of American pianists, critics and audiences have unanimously hailed the distinctive and compelling performances of pianist Steven Spooner. 
Tuba Faculty
Aaron Tindall is a frequent soloist, guest artist/clinician, and orchestral tubist throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has been featured at all of the International Tuba and Euphonium Conferences since 2006, performed in England with the National Champion Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band, and his solo playing has been heard on NPR’s Performance Today.
Tuba Faculty
Dr. Tornquist is a member of the Santa Barbara Symphony, New West Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, and Santa Monica Symphony. He performs regularly with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera Orchestra, and on various film and television scores, including Edward Scissorhands, Wreck it Ralph, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and The Big Friendly Giant.

Conservatory faculty
Ben was chosen by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel for the position of Associate Principal Viola of the LA Philharmonic and previously held the position of Assistant Principal. In addition to his appearances with the LA Phil, Ullery has performed across the country and abroad in the role of Guest Principal Viola with the Chicago Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Detroit Symphony, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Australian Chamber Orchestra.
